Hi guys

Recently I reformatted my PC and now I have issues reconnecting my HP 2630 to my computer.

I originally installed it on my PC through my wireless card, but I removed the wireless card earlier this year and it wasn't active for many months prior, as my PC was solely using Ethernet.

Now my PC is fresh, it won't connect at all. My model is not compatible with an ethernet connection itself and the only thing I can do is USB, but I use HP Instant Ink and rely on it heavily for my business, so that's not a valid option for me.

How come I'm not able to find the printer on my network?

Does anyone have any advice? I tried contacting HP but keep getting told they're not open.

Thanks

Hi,

Try following 'Connect a printer that does not have a touchscreen control panel >> Step 2: Connect the printer with the HP Smart app' below to connect the printer to your wireless network:

Hi

I managed to figure it out and used the driver to convert a USB connection to a wifi one. However, whilst my printer is now on my Wi-Fi and is connected to my PC (I've been able to print), I logged onto my Instant Ink and it's not connected?

When I print an information page, it says I'm on the wifi, not the internet. When I sign into Web Services is says all the same things:

There is no action to connect it, it just unhelpfully says 'speak to who set up the printer'....which would be me.

I'm getting increasingly frustrated as I really need to get printing ASAP.

Thanks
