Hi @ERNERN66,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding setting up your printer!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

Try these steps:

Locate the WPS PIN:

  • On your HP printer control panel, navigate to the Wireless menu.
  • Select the Wi-Fi Protected Setup (WPS) option.
  • Choose PIN Option and your printer will display the WPS PIN on the screen.

Enter the WPS PIN:

  • On your router, there should be a WPS button (usually labeled WPS). Press this button to start the WPS setup process.
  • Enter the WPS PIN displayed on your printer control panel into the appropriate field in your router's configuration page if prompted.

Complete the Connection:

  • Follow any additional prompts to complete the wireless setup. Your printer should now connect to your Wi-Fi network.

Install HP Smart App:

  • Go to 123.hp.com to download and install the HP Smart app.
  • Open the HP Smart app, and then tap Add a New Printer or the Add icon to find your printer.
  • Follow the prompts in the HP Smart app to connect the printer and complete the setup.

Set Preferences:

  • On the printer control panel, touch your preferred language and country/region.
  • Follow the animations in the HP Smart app to load paper and install the setup cartridges.

Load Paper:

  • Open the main tray and adjust the paper-width guides.
  • Load a stack of plain paper into the tray.
  • Close the main tray and pull out the output tray.

I hope this helps.
