Hello, I have just purchased a HP Deskjet 2700e printer and have installed the HP Smart on my iphone 8. I have a desktop computer that currently runs Windows 7

I understand that I cannot download the HP Smart app into my computer as it's not compatible with Windows 7 but wanted to ask if I can connect my desktop computer to the printer using a usb cable as my printer cannot communicate with the computer so I cannot print anything out?

Do i have to get a Bluetooth pcb and connect that into my computer to make this system work or will the usb cable do it?

Download and install its Full Feature Software below for a Windows 7 computer:

https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softlib/software13/printers/DJ2700/HPEasyStart-13.6.5-DJ2700_51_4_4865_1_Webp...

 

You may install the printer through a USB or through a network connection, if your Windows 7 PC is connected to the same network, either wirelessly or with an Ethernet cable.
