I have an HP Officejet Pro 8025 printer with an instant ink subscription. How can I still use this printer if I no longer have an internet connection?

Hi @GHGRANT,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
If you don't have an internet connection, you won't be able to use the Instant Ink service to automatically order ink when your printer is running low. However, you can still use your HP Officejet Pro 8025 printer without an internet connection for basic printing tasks.
Here are the steps you can follow.
- Install Printer Drivers: Make sure you have the necessary printer drivers installed on your computer or device. This will allow your device to communicate with the printer even without an internet connection.
- Connect via USB: Use a USB cable to connect your printer directly to your computer or device. This allows you to print documents directly without needing an internet connection.
- Print Locally: Once the printer is connected via USB, you can print documents stored on your device without needing an internet connection. Simply select the document you want to print and choose the HP Officejet Pro 8025 printer from the list of available printers.
- Manual Ink Replacement: Since you won't have an internet connection to order ink automatically through Instant Ink, you'll need to monitor your ink levels manually. Keep an eye on the ink levels displayed on your printer's control panel and replace the cartridges as needed.
- Optional: Mobile Printing: If your printer supports mobile printing options like HP ePrint or AirPrint, you may still be able to print from your mobile device even without an internet connection. However, you'll need to check the specific requirements and setup for these features.
By following these steps, you should be able to continue using your HP Officejet Pro 8025 printer even without an internet connection, albeit without the convenience of automatic ink replenishment through Instant Ink.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
