I can print from my computer, but I can't scan to my computer from my printer.

Welcome to the HP Community --

 

After you have installed the full driver printer software, the "Manage Scan to Computer" feature must be enabled.

 

  • Install the printer software
  • Restart the computer and log in

 

One of two shortcuts are added to the Desktop -

  • Printer Assistant

OR

  • Scan Assistant

 

Printer Assistant > Print, Scan & Fax > Tab Scan > Manage Scan to Computer > Enable

OR

Scan Assistant > Manage Scan to Computer > Enable
