Hi @chanezzz7,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

It sounds like you're experiencing issues with your HP DeskJet 2724 printer after moving houses and changing your Wi-Fi network. Sometimes, when you change your network settings or move the printer, it might result in connectivity or recognition problems. Here are a few steps you can try to resolve the issue.

  • Check Cartridge Installation: Ensure that the ink cartridges are properly installed in the printer. Make sure they are securely placed in their respective slots.
  • Restart Printer: Turn off the printer, unplug it from the power source, wait for about 30 seconds, and then plug it back in and turn it on. This can help reset the printer's internal settings.
  • Reset Network Settings: If you changed your Wi-Fi network, the printer might not be connecting properly. Check the printer's manual on how to reset the network settings. Then, follow the on-screen prompts to reconnect the printer to your new Wi-Fi network.
  • Reinstall Cartridges: If the printer still doesn't recognize the cartridges, try removing them and reinserting them. Make sure they are properly seated.
  • Update Firmware: Check if there are any available firmware updates for your printer on the HP support website. Updating the firmware can sometimes resolve compatibility and recognition issues.
  • Factory Reset: If none of the above steps work, you might need to perform a factory reset on the printer. This will restore the printer to its default settings and might help with recognition issues. However, be aware that this will also erase any custom settings you've configured.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
