Hello Boanerge,
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
It sounds like you're experiencing some frustration with your HP Photosmart Premium All-In-One Printer (C309g) when trying to print from your phone using the HP app. Resetting network options every time you want to print from your phone is indeed inconvenient. Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot and potentially resolve this issue.
- Update Firmware : Ensure that your printer has the latest firmware installed. Visit the HP support website and search for your printer model to check for any available firmware updates. Sometimes, firmware updates can fix connectivity issues.
- Check Wi-Fi Connection : Ensure that both your printer and your phone are connected to the same Wi-Fi network. Inconsistent connectivity between devices can cause printing problems.
- HP Smart App Settings : In the HP Smart app on your phone, check the settings to see if there's an option to "Forget" or "Remove" the printer. If so, remove it and then try to add it again without resetting the network options on your printer.
- Printer's Network Settings : Access the printer's control panel or settings menu and check if there is an option to reset network settings specifically for mobile printing. This could be a less intrusive way to reset just the mobile printing settings without affecting the entire network configuration.
- Alternative Printing Methods : If you can't resolve the issue with the HP app, you can explore alternative printing methods like using Google Cloud Print (if your printer supports it) or email-to-print services provided by HP. These options might offer more stable printing experiences from your phone without affecting your computer's setup.
