Hi,
Can you see any blinking light or any specific behavior on the printer itself?
Are you able to print a Configuration Report from the printer itself?
https://support.hp.com/ro-en/document/c05243970
If not, do you see any specific behavior or any specific blinking light pattern?
https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c05268408
As the issue is following such an hardware related change, I suggest starting this way to verify the hardware status and better understand what is going on.
Please keep me posted,
Shlomi

Thanks for clarifying @EddieV10025, this indicates any connectivity problem.
Please print a Wireless Network Test Report and evaluate its Troubleshooting section, does it indicate for any warning or attention?

Shalom,
The HP Utility app on my desktop and laptop do not recognize this printer.
I tried to reinstall the drivers using HP Easy Start, and eventually I get a "Unable to communicate with the device" message.
Is this printer fixable? I have a much older HP M201dw that is still going strong. But, my wife and I need two laser printers that work.

Hello @EddieV10025 :
Here is the HP site for HP Driver Downloads :
Here is the one to download and install :
:
| 44.11.2779 | 133.4 MB | Aug 25, 2022 | Download |
You will have to uninstall the old driver for your HP printer and install the new full HP driver, above :
You have to do it this way:
You have to uninstall the old driver in the Windows Control Panel, in "Programs and Features", then right click on the printer line, "remove".
Delete all occurrences that you will find in: Program and Program X86, then, in the Control Panel, right click on your old printer
(If it is still there, chances are it is no longer there) the "Remove" if it is present.
Restart the PC. Connect the printer to the power supply, turn it on, then connect a USB cord 1) on the PC side, 2) on the printer you
Connect to USB, during installation ONLY when prompted.( Towards the end of the installation).
Start installing your printer, by right-clicking on the Setup. driver exe installed, installed ''en
as administrator'', let the printer install itself, at the end, restart the PC.
To create a shortcut on the Windows desktop, (to have access to your printer), open the Windows Control Panel, right click on the icon of your
new printer, create a shortcut, yes, on the desktop.
A new shortcut has been created on the Windows desktop.
Open the Windows desktop, left-click on the new shortcut that has been created,
A printer menu appears (See below) with "ink levels", possibility : print, scan, fax, scan, and fax.
If it works, you can delete the old shortcut on the Windows desktop.
*Turn on your printer, print a test page, by clicking on "Customize your Printer",
''Print a test page''.
That's it, your printer is working again.
* Click on YES button to say thanks,
* Click on the button Accepted Solution if the question is answered.
* Please contact me to inform me of the result.
Best regards,

Thanks, Bernard. We do not have a Windows computer. I do not know how to remove the old printer drivers on my Macs. Is there a link? When I tried to reinstall the drivers using the HP Easy Start App, it saw my older HP M201dw. I turned that printer off when I tried to reinstall the drivers. Unfortunately, the connection with the M203dw failed.
My other question is that if I cannot get a wireless connection with this printer, would a USB cable connection work?
Thanks,
EV
