Please can someone shed any light on how to get an HP Deskjet 2620 to recognise new wifi?

Am getting desperate - my printer does not have any interactive functions

Hi 

I bought the deskjet 2620 today itself and spent about 30min figuring out the way to connect it to my home wifi. 

 

Check page 62 of this manual. The "To use the PIN method" option worked for me.

After printing the page (step #1), i had to enable the WPS option by going to the router webpage. 

The router webpage and login details must be somewhere on the router. 

Enable the WPS checkbox if not enabled already. It should be under Wireless option.

For me i had to selected Advanced menu-> then Wireless -> and then Advanced options.  

 

After enabling WPS, try steps #2 and #3 of the manual.

After a couple of minutes the blue wifi light on the printer should be stable, which means it is connected to the network.
