HP ENVY 6432e All-in-One Printer

I set up my new printer on the HP App and started to join the instant ink program. I was unable to change the country setting from the UK to Portugal, so I sought help from the AI assistant, who stated I had to delete that app, download a new one and register for Portugal. This I did, but now the app gets as far as finding the printer in stage 1. but goes around and around in stage 2. Setting up the printer. It goes no further.

I have tried every alternative on the printouts and every possible alternative online HP help. None of them works, and my laptop or desktop cannot find the printer because I cannot get past the printer setup mode, ( a purple light).

 

Any help would be appreciated.

Update, I received an information sheet from SofiaML posted on the 28.11.2024 which worked perfectly. Thank you very, very much.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

I'd like to know if you have moved from UK to Portugal? If yes, did you already perform the regional reset? And if not, I will surely help you with the Regional reset.

 

If you move to a different country we need to perform a regional reset in order to make the printer work in the new region. 

 

1. The printer should be connected using a printer USB cable to the computer.

2. You need to have the printer full feature software installed on your computer.

3. You need to have all the cartridges either from the region/country from where the printer was purchased originally or the new region/country to which you want to reset it to.

4. Make sure HP Smart App is installed too.
