Operating System: iOS

Have two Hp printers showing they are connected to my network but IPhone 13 pro max can’t find them to print.

I have disconnected both from power & then reconnected. I have shut down phone & switched back on. I have disconnected Router & switched back on but nothing works!

I can print on one remotely by using HP smart email address but that is erratic.

A week ago all working well. Is it a software issue somewhere?

Do you get any error message?

 

check with your Internet service provider if your router is able to forward 'Bonjour packets'.  Bonjour locates devices such as printers, other computers, and the services that those devices offer on a local network using multicast Domain Name System (mDNS) service records. The software comes built-in with Apple's macOS and iOS operating systems.

The only way I can possibly print is via the Hp smart app with both printers but it is erractic. My iPhone used to immediately offer me the choice of two printers without using HP smart but no longer! My Mac laptop can’t even find my printer(s)! Haven’t a clue what has caused this

Thanks so much for your help. It was my Router, recently supplied by Wildanet, that wasn’t recognising my Printers & Bonjour etc.

I recently purchased a new iphone7 prior to that I had an iphone6 Plus and had connection with my phone and hot spot PC windows7 and the HP 3700 printer without issues. Now I can't get the printer to WFI to my iphone7. the 3700 series printer is way too complicated when it comes to connection. The instructions are way too confusing. The direct connection seems to knock the iphone7 PC connection off to join the printer and then says no internet connection. my serial number is CN21FBP3HV any ideas
