When i set it up the printer to my new desktop 11 months ago it was working absolutely fine. I turn it off when i don't need to use it but inow it will not connect.
When i go to print off a document off of it says the printer is offline, i have followed the steps online/on the printer to get it connected to no avail. I have deleted everything Hp from my desktop and then reinstalled. Still nothing even with Print and Scan Doctor. The installation refuses to install at the final stage. The printer itself says it is connected but when a print message comes on screen it offers up print to One Note or another Microsoft source. No HP printer in the list.
Any suggestions appreciated please.
Strangely I can connect and print from an 8 year old laptop but it is a chore getting it up and running.

Hi @meggers
Welcome to the HP Support Community. I'd be happy to assist you.
- How far is the printer located from the WiFi router?
- Make sure the printer and the PC are connected to the same wireless network.
- This printer supports only 2.4GHz network. So, the PC should be on the 2.4GHz network.
- If you have a Dual-band router and both 2.4GHz and 5GHz networks share the same name/SSID, the printer will not be able to connect to the network. In this case, contact your Internet service provider to assign different names to both the networks.
Alternatively, use HP app to print from your Win PC
Click here to download and know more about the app.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
