Hi,
I tried to SCAN via HP extended and a scanner error showed up.
So my 1st check was the firmware of the printer and there seems to be an update.

The update file scans the network (Printer connected via WIFI) and recognizes my printer.

But I cannot use the checkbox to select the printer.

 

I have a 
HP Officejet Pro 8022

 

HP OfficeJet 8020/OfficeJet Pro 8020/OfficeJet Pro 8030 All-in-One Printer series

Firmware Update 66.7 MB

OJP8020_OJP8030_2106A.exe

 

Any hint on 
1. How to update?

AND

2. How to solve the issue with 'HP Scan Extended' ?

 

Shall I post another topic with the scan problem?

If your printer is connected to the Network, you can try updating the printer from the Printer's control panel
