Custom password for 3772

I am receiving the following message: "A custom printer password has been set. Enter the password to access the printer's web interface."  On my 3772
Other reply’s say to long into the EWS page and leave password blank but what is The EWS page.

The EWS page means the Embedded web server page of the printer where you can make changes to the printer settings. If a custom password is set and you are not aware of it, we will have to perform a factory reset to resolve this issue.

• The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may corrupt the device.
• I've sent you a private message with reset instructions, follow the reset instruction to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer.
