I can't print because the App HP SMART gives an error message "VERIFY ACCOUNT".

My account is ok

I think  it's necessary delete the account and resume with a new account. It's right?

How can I delete my account?

Thanks

@LUDOV, Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

The "VERIFY ACCOUNT" error in the HP Smart app usually indicates an issue with account authentication or printer registration. Before deleting your HP Smart account, I recommend trying the following steps to resolve the issue:

Restart Devices:

  • Restart your printer and the device running the HP Smart app.

Check Internet Connection:

  • Ensure your printer and device are connected to a stable Wi-Fi network.

Sign Out and Back In:

  • Open the HP Smart app.
  • Go to Account > Sign Out.
  • Close the app, reopen it, and sign back in.

Remove and Re-add Printer:

  • In the HP Smart app, remove the printer by long-pressing its icon and selecting Forget Printer.
  • Tap Add Printer and follow the prompts to reconnect it.

Restore Printer to Factory Defaults:

  • On the printer, press and hold the Wireless and Cancel buttons for 10 seconds until the printer resets.
  • Reconnect it using the HP Smart app.

If You Still Want to Delete Your HP Smart Account

If you'd prefer to delete your HP Smart account and start fresh:

  1. Visit the HP Account Settings page.
  2. Sign in with your HP credentials.
  3. Scroll down and click "Delete My Account".
  4. Follow the on-screen instructions to confirm.
