Deault Printer Driver

I recently uploaded a update to my HP Officejetpro 8610 about the fax feature.

Since then whenever I want to print, the default driver is the Fax.

So I have to manually change it to the printer.

Is there anyway to change the default driver to printer?

Welcome to the HP support community.

I understand that you are unable to set the printer as default while printing, I am glad to assist you.

Follow these steps to set the printer as default, I am glad to assist you:-

Select the Start  button and then Settings.

Go to Devices > Printers & scanners > select a printer > Manage. Then select Set as default. If you have Let Windows manage my default printer selected, you'll need to deselect it before you can choose a default printer on your own.
