HP LaserJet Pro 4002dn Printer
Linux

Hello!

I purchased a HP LaserJet Pro 4002dn printer and connected it to our ethernet network. Now, I would like to log in to the embedded web server to set up the printer. The web server claims that I am logged in as admin, but most operations require entering a password with the message "A custom printer password has been set. Enter the password or contact your IT administrator to access the printer's web interface."

I located the sticker with the Printer PIN under the front cover, but this PIN does not work as the password. What should I use instead?

When I print the Printer Status Report, it shows that "Admin Password: Set" and gives the same Printer PIN as on the sticker. Resetting the printer to factory defaults does not change anything.

When the printer is Ready try to press in following order buttons Cancel Return Cancel Cancel  that should open Support Menu. In the Support Menu navigate to Resets Menu -> Semi-Full Reset confirm with OK, and after that try using PIN from the label as password.

Thanks for your advice. I tried it, but unfortunately the problem remains.
