I have downloaded the following files to install my printer.    Can I delete them after I have installed the printer?  What about older versions of the same files - can I delete them?

Full_Webpack-116_1-Full_Webpack.exe

Basic_Webpack_x64-116-Basic_Webpack_x64.exe

HPEasyStart_14_4_7.exe

HPPSdr.exe

Welcome to the HP User Community.

Yes, these can be deleted - doing so is entirely a personal decision.

As long as the software is available from the printer's software and drivers support webpage , you need not keep local copies.

Caveat / Personal Comments

As the printer ages, major updates to the printer software grow increasingly unlikely.

In the case of your printer's software, excluding required changes (for example, for security), the "32.x" version is likely the last major release of the software.

At some point, generally closer to eight to a bit less than ten years, it does become increasingly important that you have local copies of the software and documentation.  HP typically supports consumer grade printers for ten years - the reality might be more or less and depends on factors that HP decides internally.  Once a printer is "retired", all the documentation is removed.  It is generally true that before that final stage, the printer software has been removed due to security, compatibility, or other reasons known only to HP.

Were it mine to do, I'd keep one set of the installer packages - "Just in case"

  • Full Web Package
  • Easy Start Software wrapper

One more "good to have"
