I am now on my third supplied under guarantee Deskjet 4100e. I was signed up to Instant Ink+. But the printer never prints when a print job is sent to it. Repeated error message "Printer not found". The software in the printer tells me it is enrolled in Instant Ink, connected to the wireless network with excellent signal strength, but is not connected to the Internet. The router of course confirms that it is. Very occasionally HP Instant Ink tells me the printer is not maintaining an Internet connection, and of course the chips in the cartridges are then not enabled. Numerous calls to agents to try and fix it. Only ever briefly resumes operation. Seemingly, if it goes to sleep, it doesn't wake up. After three days of support calls one agent said "Throw it in the trash". I don't believe these printers are either 'fit-for-purpose' or compatible with Apple MacOS. Anyone else similar experiences?
