My Deskjet 2652 will not print anything but the test page. I have cleaned the heads and made sure I have ink. I have tried both color and black and white. Only blank pages come out. I tried printing an excel spreadsheet (that I print once a month)  and an online pdf. No luck.

Here are a few more things you can try:

 

  • Check Ink Levels: Ensure that your ink cartridges are not empty. Sometimes even if the cartridges are not completely out of ink, they might be low enough to cause printing issues.
  • Print a Diagnostic Report: Many printers, including the HP Deskjet 2652, have a diagnostic report option in the settings menu. Printing this report can help identify if there are any specific issues with the printer's hardware or ink cartridges.
  • Update Printer Drivers: Make sure you have the latest drivers installed for your printer. Sometimes outdated drivers can cause printing problems. Software and Drivers for HP DeskJet 2652 All-in-One Printer
  • Check Print Settings: Ensure that the print settings are correct, especially the paper size, orientation, and print quality settings. Sometimes incorrect settings can cause blank pages to be printed.
  • Try Different Software: If you're printing from a specific software program (such as Excel or Adobe Reader), try printing from a different program to see if the issue persists. This can help determine if the problem is software-related.
  • Reset Printer: Try resetting your printer to its default settings. This can sometimes resolve issues related to settings or configuration.
