Product: HP DeskJet 2723e All-in-One Printer

(My OS is Mac Sonoma 14.2.1) I got a new router and wifi from a different provider. Every device in my house works on the new wifi EXCEPT the HP printer. I cannot get the printer to connect. My laptop and iPhone are beside the printer and both are connected. I have unplugged the printer and restarted it many times. I am using the HP Smart app on my MacBook.

 

I have been struggling for more than one hour. I have followed all the instructions and nothing works. Please help. 

 

The wifi network named "DIRECT-D8-HP DeskJet 2700 series" says it requires a password to connect. I have a password written down but it does not work but it always says "The Wi-Fi network "DIRECT-D8-HP DeskJet 2700 series" could not be joined.

HP Recommended

Get a network report from the 2700 to find the Wi-Fi direct password.

 

Wi-Fi Direct can be used to avoid configuring the router.  This video might be helpful.
