Product: HP DeskJet 2734e All-in-One Printer

My new  2734e beeps randomly. It is a series of 5 short beeps, a 30 second pause, then one longer beep. It does this every 20 minutes or so, 24/7. HP chat CSR said that behavior is normal, and I should turn the printer off when not is use, saving electricity.  I pointed out that Print From Anyhwhere would be quite expensive if I had to fly home, turn the printer on, and then fly back to my remote location to print remotely! Is there a cure for this problem?
