Hi there!
My Deskjet 3630, suddenly will not connect through either the network or the USB. I've had problems with the network connection ever since i had it, about 2 years ago max, and just thought it was down to my internet connection. It has always connected through the USB cable but suddenly stopped. I have tired to reconnect through both the network and USB but every time it tells me it cannot connect and I have tired all the ports on my laptop to see if there was an error there. As well as checked the cord for any damage but it looks as good as new and is never left plugged in out of use.
I don't understand why it is not working and would like some suggestions as to how to get it fixed.
Many thanks
Zoe

Welcome to HP Forums,
This is a great place to get support, find answers and tips,
Thank you for posting your query, I'll be more than glad to help you out 🙂
As I understand, your printer does not connect through USB or Wireless,
Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, however, to provide an accurate resolution, I need a few more details:
What is the operating system on PC?
When was the last time it worked fine?
Were there any hardware/software changes made?
Have you tried any troubleshooting steps?
What is the exact error message while trying to connect to Wi-Fi?
Let's try these steps to resolve the issue:
For Wi-Fi issue:
Perform Restore network defaults:
Restore network settings to default settings
● Press the Wireless button and the Cancel button from the printer control panel at the same time, and then hold them for three seconds.
Once completed, connect the printer to Wi-Fi:
HP printer setup (Wi-Fi network)
HP printer setup (Mac built-in driver)
Or you could try these steps:
HP printers - Change from a USB to a Wi-Fi connection
Once I have the operating system I will help you with USB connectivity troubleshooting,
Keep me posted,
Cheers 🙂
