Hej there!
I have a problem with my Deskjet 3630 printer: It asks me for a (admin) password but I can't reminder to have ever set one. I already tried to set the printer to factory reset. I found different ways to do so (holding power while pressing copy black twice or three times and then three times the stop button; holding power then six times the stop button; ...) but nothing helped. It makes noises as if it starts the resetting but there's still an admin password I am asked for...
I found some other threads but wasn't able to answer so I started a new one. Can anyone please help me? 🙂
Best regards from Germany

Hi @kingyor, @blablaffs,
I'd like to help!
We can perform a factory defaults on the printer to resolve the issue
- The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may corrupt the device.
- I've sent you a private message with reset instructions, follow the reset instruction to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer.
- In order to access your private messages, click the private message icon on the upper right corner of your HP Forums profile, next to your profile Name or simply click on this link: https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/notes/privatenotespage

Hi I'm also having trouble with the password, I'd love to get the instructions on how to do a factory reset too for my Deskjet 3630 so I can access the settings to set up my printer on a new computer.
Thank you
