Deskjet 3634 automatically prints out test page on startup

Whenever I start my printer, it automatically prints out a test page (the that says: for better print quality, place this page on the glass, and then press a copy button). This is obviously a nuisance. How can I make it stop doing this without having to press the cancel button every single time?

Hi,

Have you followed the steps to complete the alignment process by placing it on the glass and pressing the copy  button?

Any new ink cartridge must be aligned to ensure a proper print quality, once you complete the process by scanning the page the process should complete and the page should no longer be printed till replacing an ink cartridge.

If you follow these steps and the issue remain, what exact colors can you see on the printed sheet?

Upon start up, this deskjet (3634) prints out a test page everytime.  I do place the test page on the glass for alignment but I could start the printer the following day and it does the same thing.  How can I get the printer to stop printing a test page on start-up.  That this continues everytime I start up is a waste of paper and ink.
