Product: Hp deskjet 3835
Operating System: Android 9.0 Pie

Having worked for years printer no longer is recognised by my Android notebook. Downloaded HPSmart as only driver now available. Hp smart is asking for the deskjet to be in setup mode and instruction says press wifi symbol and cancel cross simultaneously for 3 seconds to enter setup mode. This is impossible as there is no screen where both are available . Where can I go now. HELP pleade

I would like to help

 

Try restoring the printer Network Settings back to default

 

1. From the Home screen, touch (Wireless), and then touch Settings . 2. Touch Restore Network Settings. 3. Follow the on-screen instruction

 

Next reinstall the HP Smart App and run the Setup
