Deskjet 5650
Microsoft Windows 7 (32-bit)

Hi,

I'm attempting to install a Deskjet 5650 printer onto a friend's laptop running Windows 7 (32 bit). The driver installed automatically via the OS is described as 'Deskjet 5600 Series (HPA)', although the associated icon does not resemble the actual printer? Suffice to say, it doesn't appear to be working! Any help in locating the appropriate driver would be much appreciated.

Welcome to HP forums, I see that you are unable to find the printer driver.

 

I made a research and see that full feature printer driver for Windows 7 is not available.

  • However, you can install the printer using Windows built-in driver.
  • Refer this HP document to know how to install the printer:- Click here

Hi Sandytechy20,

Many thanks for your reply. As I said in my original post, I have installed the Windows 7 built-in driver as per instructions. The driver is listed as 'HP deskjet 5600 series (HPA)' but does not work! Paper is drawn into the printer but nothing is actually printed 😞

Please would you advise on the specific driver required.
