I had a desktop app that operated my printer, somehow it's gone and I would like to get it back

Hi,

Thanks for using the HP Support Community.

 

Download the "HP Smart" from WIndows store.

Else, download the HP FULL featured software to fully utilize the scan functions.

 

The following resource will help you :
https://support.hp.com/sg-en/drivers

Key in your printer model, Operating System and download & install the FULL feature software.

These resources will be useful for your scan:

 

HP Officejet Pro 6970 series : Scan a 10 pages 2 sided document using the ADF

Scan multiple photos with Auto Crop (HP Scan Extended)
