Product: MFP M227FDW
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 8.1 (64-bit)

I installed a MFP M227 FDW and while everything seems to work fine, I still see a message under status of: "device install incomplete, go to windows store" I have ran the troubleshooting and even enlisted the help of "THE PRINT AND SCAN DOCTOR"

message keeps appearing

It could be suggesting you install the HP Smart app from the Windows Store which is not required if a full-featured driver is already installed on the computer.

You may ignore the notification. Click here to download and know more about the app.
