Disposal of printer

Hi

• I have two hp printers. A deskjet 3637 printer and a photosmart c4680 printer. I want to donate these but the internet suggests ensuring any stored data is deleted. How do I check if these models store data? Or does it clear when you turn it off?

Sorry if this is a really basic question.

No data is stored in low-end printers, you can restore them to factory defaults to make new user easier to setup.
