Hi All,

I own a DeskJet 2131 and a DeskJet 1050 printers. I plan to dispose of both of them, because they are both pretty old. However, I am worried if any personal information is stored on the printers.

Is there a good way to wipe away any such data? Maybe a Factory Reset? How? It's not set up as a network printer. It's just connected to a laptop.

Thanks!

You are fine, there is no data stored in your printer's models, and you can safely dispose of them with no worries.
