Disposing of HP M1132 printer

Hi, this is more of a question than a problem.

I have recently replaced my M1132 printer and wondering what to do with it... it seems a shame to just throw it away. Does HP (or anyone else for that matter) have a recycling scheme for old hardware?

              Hello PJB59,

Printer recycling

After removing the cartridges, transferring or terminating HP accounts, and restoring the factory default settings, recycle the HP printer.
