Hi @Bubby101,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding your printer!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

You do not necessarily need to buy a monthly plan to print with your HP printer. HP offers subscription services like HP All-In Plan for Print and Instant Ink, which provide continuous ink or toner supply and additional benefits, but you can also choose to buy ink and toner cartridges as needed from retailers.

Monthly Subscription Plan Details

  • HP All-In Plan for Print: This subscription includes a new printer, continuous ink supplies based on usage, and additional benefits like 24/7 pro live support. You can enroll and choose your plan here.
  • Instant Ink: This service offers various plans based on page count, providing ink shipments only when necessary rather than monthly. You can change or manage your Instant Ink plan anytime by signing in to your Instant Ink account.

Printing with Chrome

As for printing from a private address on Chrome, you can print without a subscription plan:

  1. Make sure your printer is properly connected to your network.
  2. Ensure you have the necessary printer drivers installed on your device.
  3. Use the browser's print functionality by pressing Ctrl + P (Windows) or Cmd + P (macOS) to open the print dialog and send your document to the connected printer.

I hope this helps.
