Does anyone know of a Printer Driver for HP ENVY 6020 that will operate on Windows XP Prof.?

Upfront installation guide indicates that HP 6020 printer is only supported from Windows 7 upwards. I am still using Windows XP and there is Driver download from HP site has an option that includes for Windows XP. The download does reach installation stage, but the system will not connect to the Printer via USB connection. Any suggestions or ideas to help?

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

I would suggest you try the Windows built-in drivers. Follow the steps below:

•    Go to Control Panel - Devices and Printers - Click on "Add printer" and follow the on-screen instructions.

•    When the page prompts for the drivers, select "Windows update". The driver list will be updated.

•    Click HP, Hewlett Packard, or Hewlett-Packard in the Manufacturer pane, and then click the name of your printer in the Printers pane.

Thanks so much Betty. I had exhausted all of your options before posting. It would thus appear that there is no available Driver for the ENVY 6020 that can be installed under Windows XP Professional - unless ther is another HP accredited Driver supplier that has one for the Printer above - that I am not aware of - which was the question posted..
