@mikexom, Welcome to HP Support Community!

Is there any error when you try to print?

Which application are you trying to print from?

This could be an issue with the driver settings or the installed drivers, let us try to isolate and resolve the issue-

Check the settings before you send the print job. Refer to the document HP Printers - Print Settings Guide (Mac) for help.

ensure that the printer is up to date with its firmware and Mac is up to date with its software. If you are unsure you may use the links below to update the printer firmware and Mac software:

Update printer firmware

Update software on Mac

Remove and add the printer

Click the Apple menu, and then select System Preferences.

Depending on your operating system version, click Print & Fax, Print & Scan, or Printers & Scanners.

Click the name of your printer, click the Minus sign, and then delete the printer.

Select printer and click the minus sign

Click the Plus sign, and then click Add Printer or Scanner.

Click the Use or Print Using box, and then select AirPrint

Select AirPrint from the Use menu

Click Add to add the printer to the list.

Try to print.

There is no error. Driver is updated. Same issue when copying from document feeder (collated or not).  The only way to print without error is using mobile device so I scan and email a pdf to myself and then print from my phone.  If I print the same file from laptop (and print preview looks fine) I get 2 out of 3 pages cutoff about a 2/3 with last 1/3 on a separate page

Thanks for replying!

For copying issues, refer to the document HP Printers - Resolving Copy Problems  for help.

What happens when you print from web browsers?

Which application are you trying to print from?

Keep me posted.

Issue is general to any PDF file I try to print from the computer.  The issue of printing (some pages spread across two output pages) are exactly the same as when i try copying with this printer (ie the issue does not seem tied to the operating system but rather the printer itself).  As mentioned there is no issue if I print the same file but from a mobile device.

@mikexom

How is the printer connected to the computer?

Did you try making a standalone copy? If no, try this- place a document on the scan bed and hit the copy command on the printer.

Keep me posted for further assistance.
