Double sided printing not working?

Hi Guys, 

I have just bought a HP ENVY 6234, and I cannot seem to get the double sided printing to work. I work on an iMac, running the latest. OS Big Sur. I have tried printing from Adobe Acroabat, Adobe Illustrator and Word... I have tried clicking the Two Sided options and all the obvious selections on the print setup pages.. But this printer still only prints single sided?

Can anyone help please?!

I understand you are not able to print on both sides. Let us try these steps:

This printer supports printing on both sides automatically. How is the printer installed?

Are you using an HP printer driver or AirPrint?

Update the printer firmware

Click here to download and install the latest printer firmware from your MAC.

Click here to know different methods of updating printer firmware.

Also, check for any software updates on MAC

Click the Apple icon > About This Mac > Software Update and install any available update.

Check the print settings on the app before printing:
