Hello,
I have an old HP Laserjet printer that I have used for years without a problem with my old laptop. I have a fairly recent HP ProBook laptop (Windows 10) and when I try to print something, it just doesn't want to print double sided. The duplex-printing setting is on 'installed' in the options and I already tried different drivers. I does want to print double sided on my other laptop with the same driver and the same settings.
What am I doing wrong? 🙂

I don't mean automatic duplex printing, but manual duplex printing. So that I need to take the paper from above and manually place in in the other tray (not the tray where it takes the first page). Sorry for the vague explanation, I'm not that technical.

I compared them and they are the same. I already tried other drivers too. In the preferences it says ‘double sided printing’ and its marked. But when I print, the printer doesn’t print double sided, but takes paper for every page instead of for one very 2 pages (for manual double sides printing).

Yes, I thought that too. But I do not know the solution for the problem as my computer says it’s the same driver and the settings are the same 🙂 so there must be a fault in communication between the computer and the printer? Or I am missing something very stupid.
