How do I downgrade the firmware HP LaserJet Pro MFP M428fdn in order to print with the Non-HP Cartridges ? The current version is 002.2230D.00.

You need to obtain the older firmware upgrade utility and then use a program like 7zip to extract the .ful file from the utility file. Then, make sure that firmware downgrade is turned on in the EWS. Copy the .ful file to a USB stick. Turn off the printer and then insert the USB stick into the port by the control panel. Turn the printer on and wait. Device will detect the file and install the older firmware.
