Download driver do not get installed

Hi

I have HP Laserjet P1102W printer. It is very old model. However was working fine as wireless printer. Until due to storm my telephone / Internet was out for a month. Thereafter it refused to do the printing. So I thought probably reinstalling the driver will do the job. So I removed the printer from my laptop. And tried to dowload the driver from HP website. However after dowloading I tried to execute the executive file. It extract the file 100% but nothing happen thereafter. I saw one conversation of this website which talk about uninstalling the printer driver first and then remove the device from laptop. Unfortunately I removed the device first. However I thought I will still give it a go. So I tried to uninstall the printer driver. But I got error message telling me that there is print job pending for this printer hence it will not uninstall it. Now I do not know how to find the printer (it is no longer showing in my printers folder) and get rid of the pending print job???

My wife does not allow me to buy new printer, say fix this printer. I can not fix the printer and therefore can not print anything...please help

Hi,

With the printer disconnected from the computer, restart the computer and then ensure there are no copies of your printer under Devices and Printers.

Next. browse to C:\LJP1100_P1560_P1600_Full_Solution and double-click HpSetup.exe to launch the installation.

Now follow the installation by selecting P1100w.
