Does anyone know where I can download the standalone driver package for my OJPro 9125e? It seems every other series has an entry "Installation Software and Full/Basic Driver-Supports print and scan functionality only (1)" except this one under driver support downloads. Please let me know if anyone knows where to find this, please. Thanks!

Hi @Twilkin70,

Thank you for the update, and I hope you had a wonderful 4th of July weekend as well!

I understand the challenge, especially since the PC is operating in a SCIF environment with no Internet access.

For this printer model, HP does not currently provide a separate, standalone basic driver package like some of the other OfficeJet Pro 9000e series printers. The available software is designed to install through the HP setup application, so there isn't a downloadable offline driver package published for this model.

In the meantime, if you haven't already, I'd recommend trying a direct USB connection to see if Windows can install the printer using its built-in print support.

  1. Connect the printer directly to the computer using a USB cable.
  2. Turn the printer on and wait for Windows to detect it.
  3. Open Settings > Bluetooth & devices > Printers & scanners.
  4. Select Add device and allow Windows a few minutes to search for the printer.
  5. If the printer appears, complete the installation and print a test page.

Hi @Twilkin70,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

I'd be happy to help. To make sure I point you to the correct software, could you please let me know whether you're using Windows or macOS?

If you're using Windows, the drivers and software for the HP OfficeJet Pro 9125e are available from the official HP support page for the OfficeJet Pro 9125e series. You can download the available Windows drivers and software from the following link: HP OfficeJet Pro 9125e All-in-One Printer Software and Driver Downloads | HP® Support

If you're using macOS, please let me know which version of macOS is installed on your Mac. The downloads and installation method may differ depending on the macOS version.

Once you've confirmed your operating system, if you're still unable to find the driver package or encounter any issues during installation, let us know, and we'll be happy to guide you further.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have an amazing day!

I'm an HP Employee.

Thanks, VTG!

I am using Windows 11 and have been to the site you posted. Unfortunately, this computer does not have access to the internet. It is strange that all the other OJP series have the basic driver package available. For example, "https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/hp-officejet-pro-9010e-all-in-one-printer-series/38023430" under the heading "Installation Software and Full/Basic Driver-Supports print and scan functionality only (1)". This is the only series I have found that does not have this available. Can someone send me the package or maybe update the web site, so it is available? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hi @Twilkin70,

I understand what you're referring to. Since you're able to access the HP support page, could you please confirm whether you're viewing it from a different computer that has internet access, or is the Windows 11 PC connected to the internet only for browsing but not for downloading?

The reason I ask is that the driver page I shared uses HP's driver detection. If you enter your printer's serial number on that page, it will display the drivers and software available specifically for your HP OfficeJet Pro 9125e.

If the Windows 11 computer where you're installing the printer does not have internet access, the recommended approach would be to:

  1. Use another computer with internet access (for example, a friend's or family member's PC).
  2. Open the HP driver page that was shared.
  3. Download the available driver package to a USB flash drive.
  4. Copy the installer to your Windows 11 computer and run it locally.

Regarding the Basic Driver package, I understand your concern. Some HP OfficeJet Pro series have a separate "Installation Software and Full/Basic Driver" download listed, while others do not. For the HP OfficeJet Pro 9125e, HP currently provides the driver packages that are published on the official support page, and there isn't a separate standalone Basic Driver package available for download at this time.

If you're looking for a specific offline installer that isn't listed on the support page, please let me know.

Thanks for the response VTG! I hope you had a great 4th of July weekend? The PC this device is installed on is in a secure environment (SCIF) that cannot touch the internet. We will need to have the stand-alone driver package for this. Was it an oversight that this model does not have one published on the web or is there a reason this is not available like the other 9000e series? Thanks for all your help on this! 🙂
