Welcome to the HP Forums 🙂 I would like to take a moment and thank you for using this forum, it is a great place to find answers.
Let's try to do a root uninstall and reinstall of the software:
Unplug any USB cable, if any, before doing this.
1.) In Windows, search for and open Programs and features
2.) Select your HP Printer
3.) Select Uninstall
4.) In Windows, search for and open Devices and printers
5.) In the Devices and Printers windows look for your HP printer. If you see it listed right-click on it and choose 'Delete' or 'Remove Device'
6.) Open up the run command with the "Windows key + R" key combo.
7.) Type printui.exe /s and click Ok. (Note: there is a space in between “printui.exe” and “/s”)
8.) Click on the "Drivers" tab
9.) Look for HP Printer driver. If you see it Click on it and click Remove at the bottom
10.) Select Ok
11.) Select Apply and Ok on the Print Server Properties windows
12.) Close Devices and Printers
13.) Open up the run command with the "Windows key + R" key combo.
14.) Type c:/programdata and click Ok. Go to Hewlett Packard folder, remove any printer related folders & files.
15.) Restart the computer.
Once done, please download and install the software from here:

We can uninstall the drivers again and install the Windows built-in drivers:

Also, are you able to copy in color?

Hi @Sergey11, I am the Mr.Robot. It looks like you were interacting with @Betty0610, but she is out of the office today, so I'll take over from here.
I appreciate your efforts for writing back to us.
As you mentioned the issue still persists after trying out the steps.
Try few steps recommended below and check if it helps.
Try making a colour copy from your printer and check if the issue persists.
Go to devices and printers and right click under printer properties then go to device settings and go almost all the way down to device type an change to colour and save the change then go to printer preferences and in the colour tab make sure the option print in grayscale it's not checked.
Also, try the steps recommended below.
Open Control Panel
Click on "Printers & Scanners" (or Devices & Printers depending on your view)
Click the printer that isn't printing color and select "manage"
Click "Printer Properties"
Click "Device Settings"
Click the "Off" under "Automatic Configuration" and select "Update Now" (this will cause the option for the automatic duplexing unit to be "installed" upon closing the window prompt)
Click "OK" to close the window prompt
Go back into the program you're trying to print from (or from "Printers & Scanners" menu)
Click "Printer Preferences" (or Right click on the printer in "Printers & Scanners")
Click "Paper/Quality" tab
Select "Color" option your require
Now print!
Let me know if this helps!
Take Care! 🙂

Let's try to do a root uninstall and reinstall of the software:

I tried. It does not help. I can upload screenshots for example from different versions of Windows and show clearly what the difference is. On version 1809 prints only monochrome. What address can I send screenshots to?

@Sergey11, Thanks for your response again.
I appreciate your efforts for writing back to us.
As you mentioned the issue still persists after trying out the steps.
Did you try checking with a different ink cartridge?
Does the issue persist when you make a copy from the printer?
Are you able to print in colour using a different device?
If you are able to make a colour copy from your printer. Try uninstalling the printer software from your PC and install the windows built-in drivers.
Install the built-in print driver over a network connection with Windows 10 or Windows 8.
-
Search Windows for control, and then click Control Panel in the results.
-
Click View devices and printers.
-
Click Add a printer.
A Choose a device or printer to add to this PC window opens.
-
If your printer is in the list, select it, click Next, and then follow the on-screen instructions to install the driver.
-
If your printer is not in the list, continue to the next step.
-
-
Click The printer I want isn't listed, and then select Add a local printer or network printer with manual settings.
-
Click Next.
-
Select the port to be used by your printer, such as USB001 for a USB connected printer, and then click Next.
-
Click Windows Update, and then wait for the print drivers to update.
-
Click HP, Hewlett-Packard, or Hewlett Packard in the Manufacturer pane, and then click the name of your printer in the Printerspane.
-
If your printer is in the list, select it, click Next, and then follow the on-screen instructions to install the driver.
-
If your printer is not in the list, click the back arrow in the upper left corner of the window two times to return to the Find a printer by other options step, and then continue to the next step.
-
-
Select Add a printer using TCP/IP address or hostname, and then click Next.
-
Select Autodetect from the Device type drop-down list.
-
Type your printer IP address into the text box, and then click Next.
To find the printer IP address, print a Wireless Network Test report or a Network Configuration page.
-
Wait for the computer to connect to the printer, and then click Next to install the print driver.
