I am trying to connect my color Laserjet Pro M255dw to a Dell Laptop Inspiron 15 3000 series. I have been trying this for a week. I have gone thru all your tools and virtual assistant to no avail. I can load the drivers and when I try to add the device I get the msg "Driver is unavailable" The Tools can see the device when I load any of the tools, they seem to be able to see it thru the wireless network. Just the software to load the driver is brain dead. In the community forum, it looks like it may not be unique to me because someone else is having the same problem with no resolution from your tech. I have tried the windows driver installation and indicated the driver is not digitally signed. Is it time to return this for a different company printer?
Followed your instructions and still getting Driver Not Available on the Printer Settings screen and does not show up in the Printers Available screen on the print dialog screen. It is like it does not know where the folder for the driver is. I do have the printer networked to another system on the network and it is able to find the printer on that system. That system is also using the same driver and able to find it on that system. It is one that I built several years ago. Hope this makes sense.
