After years of no problem, this suddenly stopped printing and reported a communication  error. this is on a wireless network which has been completely stable. ran the doctor programme and it reported a driver conflict and recommended an uninstall and to download the drivers again. I have done this 3 times and each time it says it is all setup correctly. Same problem. I have run wireless reports that all look normal.  I have done pretty much everything suggested by the virtual support. None has worked and it has run out of ideas.  it is driving me crazy. Any suggestions?

Thank you for posting on HP Support Community.

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help,  I have a few troubleshooting steps we could try to fix the issue:

Please download and run the HP Print and Scan Doctor (PSDR) tool to diagnose and fix your problem: Using HP Print and Scan Doctor

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.

I found a cure.  Update to Windows 10 and magically this all works.  Total conspiracy to force you to do stuff you don't want. Shame on you all.
