Driver for HP Envy Photo 7800 series printer unavailable for my Thinkpad PC with Windows 10? Help?

I am visiting my friend who has an HP ENVY Photo 7800 Series Printer, which is working just fine for her and everyone else. I want to use my Thinkpad PC running windows 10 (64-bit) to print to and scan from this printer. I tried installing the printer but the driver is unavailable. I installed HP Smart, but the last step is to install the printer on your computer, which I cannot do because the driver is unavailable. How can I print a word document that is on my Thinkpad PC using this HP ENVY Photo 7800 printer, and how can I then scan a document using the same printer and then get that scanned pdf file to my Thjnkpad? I need help doing these two tasks using this particular HP printer and my Thinkpad PC, please. The warranty for this HP printer has expired, so I cannot get any support to do these tasks directly from HP without paying a lot of $$$, which defeats my purpose. Can someone help me or give me a definitive answer that it just cannot be done? Thank you so much.

Fro,m the Thinkpad PC, can you install HP Smart app (download and install HP Smart from Microsoft Store).

Then add the HP Envy Photo 7800 printer using HP Smart app,

Once you have downloaded and installed the FULL feature software, you will be able to print and scan.
