Color LaserJet Pro MFP M477fdn
macOS 11.0 Big Sur

A while back, my Color LaserJet Pro MFP M477fdn stopped working. About the same time I upgraded to MacOS 11 and now I see MacOS 12 is ready for download. I went to HP Support to download a new driver and see there is not support beyond MacOS 10.14. Is there an updated driver in the works or is my printer now useless?

Thank you for this response. The instructions to delete and reload the print driver were very clear, however the Big Sur (MacOS11) link did not work. Further investigation on HP's web sight does not show any print servers for this discontinued printer beyond MacOS10. The is a work around which is to remove the print server and use only the AirPrint capability of MacOS however some of the printer capabilities/options will be sacrificed which is disappointing.
