Does anybody know where to download a printer driver for an HP Deskjet 2700 series  [44AFB1] ?  The identifier in brackets seems important to find the correct driver. Thanks.

Hi @Collidug,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

You can download the official driver for your HP DeskJet 2700 series [44AFB1] directly from HP’s support site. The identifier in brackets is usually for internal tracking, but the correct driver is based on the printer series and your operating system.

Thanks VikramtheGreat - most helpful. Tried all that but it didn't seem to work. My solution (as I had a print deadline) was to upgrade the printer to a 2820, which for £36 out of Argos was a bargain. The installation procedure sorted out all the problems!  Thanks again; Colin.
