Hello,
We are connecting through remote desktop to a windows server 2016 which is on AWS.
If I connect through a macbook I am able to redirect my shared printer and print from the remote windows server.
The issue occures when I am connecting through a windows client computer to the remote server and printer isn't redirected.
I've entered gpo configuration to the following location:
Local Computer Policy/Computer Configuration/Administrative Templates/Windows Components/Remote Desktop Services/Remote Desktop Session Host/Printer Redirection
There I've set the following to be disabled:
Do not allow client printer redirection.
Use remote desktop easy print printer driver first.
I've searched for a compatible 8710 driver for windows server 2016 and there is none.
I've tried to install windows server 2012 driver and also windows, windows 10 driver (which was detected).
There was no option to install the driver through the UI since server 2016 can't load it and I got:
"Your os isn't compatible" message.
I tried installing the driver through msiexec and installing the msi driver file with /qn options.
The farthest I got is that I saw fax 8710 in the server's printers which WASN'T redirected.
Would appriciate your help on the matter.
Thanks.

Hi,
Follow below guidelines to install the driver on a server, see the 'Customize the installation' section:
https://support.hp.com/gb-en/document/c03351547
Adding an ENTERPRISE=YES argument should be the key to successfully install the drivers.

Downloading the HP Full Feature Software for Windows 7 or 10 should work using the command line method.
Cheers,
