Hi there,
I have tried for several hours to somehow install the driver needed for my operating system (mac OS 10.12 Sierra, macbook air)
While the installation / download is in progress, the installation app keeps saying something like ' cannot finish installation / download' network connection lost.
However my network connection isn't lost at all, is working great as are all my (newly downloaded and older) apps. And yes, I have followed all the official steps and troubleshooting steps.
Before I used windows 10 / pc. Everything worked fine.
On the fora I see a lot of complaints from Apple users, using recent (updated) Operating Systems and losing connection. Could it be HP still has to fix it's driver from the 123 site?
Also, downloading/installing with a cable won't be an option as an macbook air hasn't got an entrance for a network cable (and it shouldn't need one either for downloading a simple driver).
I would love a fix / solution because I need to print on a daily basis.
Looking forward to some help here, many thanks in advance!

I followed your instructions to install my HP Envy 4524 to my Mac with High Sierra after an upgrade (it worked peerfectly before). That seemed to work but when I download HP Easy Scan and Open it I don't see my HP Envy as an option. I do see a Photoshop 5555 which I no longer have and have deleted the software for. How can I get Easy Scan for my Envy?
