Dears,
I am trying to install this printer on my Folio 9470, with windows 10 64bit, i downloaded the last and only available drivers on HP site and i get the message that a computer policy is blocking NT.40 .... and to search the correct drivers. (!)
i've follow some tips from the forum with other people having similar issue, such as change the policy to aloud NT.40 drivers, delete "temp"files, and so on, nothing is working, i wonder why HP release drivers for most versions of windows 32/64 bits in only one file and then do not work in a transparent way, i am so desperate that i thought could be something wrong with my windows so i decided to re-install the laptop, so now i have a clean install windows and still no printer on it, can somepne please help me to find a WINDOWS 10/64 bit version working drivers?
Thanks in advance

Hi,
HP do not release a damaged driver, this issue occuors due to a currpt operating system settings, from my experience only after a system reset or upgrade (a Windows.old folder exists on drive C of your PC)...
Follow these steps to reolve a such:
**Be aware that if you have other printers installed on your PC, those will need to be reinstalled too once completing these steps.
1. Uninstall the HP Software from your PC.
2. Backup your registry prior making any registry changes:
https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c03485724
3. Update your registry using the Reg file below (that will change some printer related policies for your PC):
https://www.dropbox.com/s/avbv56zdgwv7600/kernel.reg?dl=1
4. Right click the Start menu and select Run.
Type Services.msc and press OK.
Locate and stop the Print Spooler service
5. Browse to c:\Windows\System32\spool\drivers.
Rename W32X86 to W32x86.old
Rename x64 to x64.old
Note: if any of these folders fail to delete reboot your PC and then Continue following the steps starting from Step 4...
6. Restart your computer.
7. Reinstall the HP Software and check for any difference
