I understand you are trying to set up your HP OfficeJet 3830 All-in-One Printer with the Hawking Technology HMPS2U print server on macOS Monterey, you'll need to follow these steps:

1. Install HP Printer Drivers

  1. Search for "HP OfficeJet 3830."
  2. Download and install the latest drivers for macOS.

2. Set Up the Hawking HMPS2U Print Server

  • Connect the HMPS2U to your network and attach your printer.
  • Configure the HMPS2U via its web interface:
    1. Access the IP address of the print server through your browser (refer to the HMPS2U manual for the default IP).
    2. Follow the steps to add the HP OfficeJet 3830 as a connected printer.

3. Add the Printer on macOS

Using AirPrint (if supported):

  1. Go to System Preferences > Printers & Scanners.
  2. Click the + button to add a printer.
  3. Select the printer from the list of network printers.
  4. Choose "AirPrint" as the driver.

Using the HP Driver:

  1. Follow the same steps to add the printer.
  2. Select "Use: Select Software" and pick the HP OfficeJet 3830 driver.

4. Verify Printer Functionality

  • Print a test page to ensure the printer and server communicate correctly.

Take care and have a good day.
